What a lively and beautiful deck this is! Like some of the other of Osvaldo Menegazzi’s Meneghello tarot decks, images don’t convey the true essence of these cards. It was only when holding the deck in hand, shuffling, and conducting the interview below that the power and freshness came through.
Please welcome the Tarocco della Collezioni.1
The strongest people are often some of the gentlest.
Tarocco della Collezioni Interview
1. Tell me about yourself. What is your most important characteristic?
Smoking’s out of favor – and especially pipe smoking. Do I care? No!
Just as good tobacco can facilitate deeper thought and contemplation in those who enjoy it, so I bring those readers who come to me a place where the mind is calmed focused such that insight may be revealed.
2. What are your strengths as a tarot deck?
I offer you quick thought and rapid progress in your readings. All insight comes from inside you.
3. What are your limits as a tarot deck?
Be mean to me and I’ll bite you! I see your thoughts and intentions better perhaps than you yourself.
4. What are you here to teach us?
The path forward requires playfulness. Work done in this mindset is of a higher quality. It will help you make faster progress in your skill and ability to help those who come to you. The strongest people are often some of the gentlest.
5. How can we best learn from and collaborate with you?
Lay down your weapons and harness your will. As your skill grows, you’ll find little need to defend your readings.
6. What is the potential outcome of our working relationship?
True spiritual understanding and the ability to give good direction to others.
7. Any final thoughts?
Harness the songs, poetry and adventure in your heart. They will propel you forward through our work. You have all you need.
Where can you find Tarocco della Collezioni?
The Besancon tarot can be purchased from Bob Patterson’s Carte Karuta, Alida, and directly from Il Meneghello.
