Della Rocca Tarot Interview

The Della Rocca Tarot is a luxurious Il Meneghello deck. Just about every person for whom I’ve given a reading with it has been impressed. The tarot deck is printed on a thick paper stock, though less so than the Corte deck. The Della Rocca tarot shuffles well, and is full without being heavy.

Della Rocca Tarot Interview

1. Tell me about yourself. What is your most important characteristic?

I look at you from the vantage point of the Hanged Man.  I’ve been taken out of circulation for ages of time, and am only now returning to a selected few, as only 300 copies of me have been made.  I’m curious about your readers, and patiently look forward to exploring together with you and them. Note that my wand points to the King of Cups. I’m a king and filled with wisdom.  Pay attention!

2. What are your strengths as a tarot deck?

I can serve as a safe haven, providing rest to all who work with me.  I’m a garden with sweet essence.  I’ll open your understanding and please your soul.

3. What are your limits as a tarot deck?

My major limitation is my lack of availability.  As I already mentioned, I’ve been out of use for many years, and will remain so despite the respect and acclaim my human partners give to me. Listen to me and your cup will be filled up.

4. What are you here to teach us?

I am one who has seen much and knows much.  I come to you with eyes wide open, and with an open heart.  Like a wise elder, my tarot soul is replete with stories I’d love to tell. All of these tales are for your well-being. I may be somewhat resigned to my place on the shelf of history. Yet, don’t let this lead you to think I’m a doddering old fool.  My mind and understanding are as sharp as they were on the day of my creation.

5. How can we best learn from and collaborate with you?

Have energy and clear intention when you work with me.

Don’t be hasty!

Come with gentleness and child-like innocence.

Meditate, ground, center, breathe or do whatever you need to do to calm your body and mind.  Then, be prepared to speak as I do with oracular authority!

6. What is the potential outcome of our working relationship?

Any boredom or tarot reading fatigue will be gently whisked away. Your empty cups will be filled (pos. 3). I have enough fora ll woh come to me with an honest desire to learn.  Like all good students, you will become like your teacher.  Me.
