You will probably never again see a tarot quite like Anna Maria D’Onofrio’s Corte.
Il Meneghello published this limited edition (1000 deck) set in 1999. The cards are far thicker than those of any other deck in my collection, yet possess a comfortable feel and are easily shuffled using a “hand over hand” method. The images are friendly and inviting.
Because the pip (number cards) have very simple illustrations, this tarot deck may be easier for intermediate readers than beginners.

I am the proud owner of this beautiful deck #751/1100 (I got it on ebay but Alida sells it too). My favourite card is the Judgement/Angel card. I understand the artist is no longer alive which makes it extra special.

Congratulations on getting this deck. I love the Judgement card, too. It’s one of my favorites, along with the Sun card.
Yes, Anna Maria D’Onofrio is no longer with us. This may well have been the last (and only?) tarot deck she created. It’s a treasure with such an open and gentle spirit. May we pass some of that energy on in our readings, eh?
