Cartomanzia Italiana Tarot

Cartomanzia Italiana Tarot Deck
This entry is part 11 of 32 in the series Tarot Decks

The Cartomanzia Italiana tarot deck was published in a limited edition of 2000 in 1983 by Edizioni del Solleone, the publishing house of Vito Arienti. I was so very pleased to receive this deck as part of a “trade train” on the Aeclectic Tarot forum. Thanks again to the previous owner for parting with this deck. You know who you are!

The following tarot deck interview was conducted using FireHaven’s spread, which you can download for free here: [download id="3"]

Think of me as a workhorse. I’m ready to go.

Tarot Deck Interview with the Cartomanzia Italiana

1. Tell me about yourself. What is your most important characteristic?

Cartomanzia Italiana Tarot Deck Meaning
I have a very high opinion of myself and my abilities. While I do have some measure of lineage to my name, you’d be better to think of me as a worker rather than an aristocrat. I sometimes speak with a stronger and more absolute voice than necessary. Spare and elegant, I will serve you well and with honor. (Emperor)

2. What are your strengths as a tarot deck?

I waste no time in clearly communicating the heart of whatever matter is under consideration. If you ask me something, expect to receive an answer. (Chariot reversed)

3. What are your limits as a tarot deck?

I can be a little broody at times and may surprise you with my degree of emotion. (Queen of Cups)

4. What are you here to teach us?

See, observe closely, and then act. (Knight of Wands)

5. How can we best learn from and collaborate with you?

In our readings, trust your first instincts. Do quick readings. Don’t over think. (Eight of Wands)

6. What is the potential outcome of our working relationship?

You’ll know how to say what needs to be said when it needs to be said (Queen of Swords reversed)

7. Any final words?

Think of me as a workhorse. I’m ready to go. (Eight of Coins reversed)

Where can you find the Cartomanzia Italiana

The good news is that there doesn’t seem to be a high demand for this deck.  What’s less good is that the deck is almost 30 years old and is relatively uncommon.  To find one, keep your eyes out on the tarot forums like Aeclectic. You could also monitor eBay with an automatic search on the chance that one pops up there.  Tarot Garden could also do a personal search for you if you send Dan or Jeannette an email. If you want one, in time you’ll find one. Good luck and thanks for reading the blog!
