The Bright Idea Deck is a 78 card tarot-like deck that seems made to appeal to people who would not ordinarily be drawn to tarot. It comes with a large paperback describing ways to use the deck for brainstorming and otherwise generating ideas. The artwork is pleasant and non-threatening.
Here is an interview with the Bright Idea Deck.1

Bright Idea Deck Interview
1. Tell me about yourself. What is your most important characteristic?
As a deck I’m lighter than air! You’ll be able to fly places that you might not be able to go otherwise.
2. What are your strengths as a tarot deck?
I give freely to anyone, anywhere. My intention is pure. I wish to serve and so take the work out of giving readings.
3. What are your limits as a tarot deck?
Because my meanings are pre-digested, there can sometimes be a one size fits all quality to my messages. There’s not a lot of subtlety in what I have to say. Answers will come quickly. Whether this is a strength or weakness is up to you to decide.
4. What are you here to teach us?
You don’t have to look far off to find the beauty all around you. Your choices, options and gifts are right in front of you if you’ll only look.
5. How can we best learn from and collaborate with you?
Trust your intuition. If something doesn’t ring true for you you in a reading, figure out why. Don’t be afraid to ask questions.
6. What is the potential outcome of our working relationship?
Deeper interest in tarot and an awakening or re-awakening of your curiosity and desire to understand all that there is to know.
7. Any final words?
It’s always your move. You or your clients can work with me as a tool to knowledge and understanding.
No one can ultimately take away your power to choose.
Where can you find the Bright Idea Deck?
The Bright Idea Deck can be purchased from Tarot Garden, Alida, or Amazon.

You know, I had never paid attention to this deck – truthfully I didn’t know it, except by the name – but now reading your interview and seeing some pictures, I think it’s a deck I could like. I heard it comes with a great book – what do you think of it?
The modern imagery really piques my curiosity! Did you ever try to use that to read for clients or friends? What did they think?
I think this deck is going to my wishlist
Thanks for the interview, Alec!
